Tara Signa

Cameron Zell

Tara began her dance journey at the age of 3, starting out with Ballet, Tap and Gymnastics. At the age of 9 she made her first Company Team and, in the years following, became proficient in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop & Musical Theatre. Her skills earned many overall, title and high scores throughout her time competing. After graduating high school, she was asked to teach and choreograph for her home studio, Star Struck Dance Studio.

Tara is a proud wife and mother of 3 beautiful children: Maddalena, Mollie & Xander. All 3 of her children are students at Star Struck Dance Studio with Mollie being a member of the Company Mini Team!

Tara’s love of dance has continued to grow throughout her life, and she is very excited to share this passion with the students at LKN Gymnastics Academy.

Abby Matile

Kelley Barker

Abby is currently a sophomore at UNC Charlotte. She was first a competitive gymnast and was a competitive dancer for almost 10 years at Dance Commotion. She has experience in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and Lyrical. In her free time she enjoys line dancing.

Mikayla Purser

Mikayla Purser

Hey! My names Mikayla Purser, I’ve been dancing for 16 years and I’m a rising senior in high school. I’ve been Dancing with Star Struck since I was 2 years old, I went to Rhonda’s school of dance for 5 years and then returned back to Starstruck. Where I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing children as a teachers assistant and pour my passion into creating dances each year for stage. I was the first ever dancing with our stars Jr champion in Lincolnton choreographing my own dance to the Grease soundtrack. In which I won a $1,000 scholarship and preformed at numerous public events. I’ve been preforming with the Lincoln county nutcracker for the past 6 years. I was a featured dancer in Lincoln theater guilds “ Beauty and the Beast “ . I've won numerous awards, judges awards and scholarships with competing as well. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with your kids this upcoming season.
