Sandra Connick
Sandra Connick, a native of Cork, Ireland, grew up in a family rich in Irish dance traditions. Miss Sandra excitedly brought Irish dance to LKNGA nearly 3 years ago. She is a registered teacher and adjudicator with the governing Irish dance body both in the USA and Ireland. She has been teaching in the Carolina's since 1994 and has recently moved to the Denver area. Miss Sandra teaches Traditional Irish Dance for beginners on through Champion Levels. Many of her students have competed Nationally & Internationally over the past 20+ years and hold several titles. "My goal is to instill a love of Irish dance in your child so that they'll be happy to share their love of dance with others."
Amelia Checca
Amelia has been a student of Miss Sandra’s for 6 years. She has been teaching with her for the past 3 years. Amelia competes at a National level but her real passion is teaching. She has experience teaching all ages and enjoys spreading her love of Irish dance with all students. Amelia is a recent 2022 high school graduate and is excited to see what this years dance season holds.
Cameron Zell - Star Struck Dance
Cameron Pace Zell began dancing at the age of 5, with training from Northwest School of the Arts in musical theatre and dance, as well as Miss Donna's School of Dance in all styles.
Cameron competitively danced and has performed in several musicals including Hair (NWSA), The Wedding Singer (NWSA), and Legally Blonde (NCT) as well as the ballet, Sleeping Beauty (NWSA), and films including The Strange and Unusual, The Ultimate Life, Shuffleton's Barbershop, Inara the Jungle Girl, Goddess of War and a Mobil 1 commercial.
As a dance teacher, she's had many opportunities to choreograph for studios, teach at workshops, and was hired as choreographer for one of the first pilot shows of the Disney Musical, Frozen Jr.
With her knowledge of theatre and dance, as well as a love of fashion, Cameron found a new passion in sewing! She has now opened her own dance costume and dancewear business, CZ Costumes.
Cameron has won awards such as the Star Systems Top Vocalist, Tap Soloist, Top Teacher, the Senior Scholarship from Miss Donna's School of Dance, the Order of the Dragon from Northwest School of the Arts, and several costume awards!
She is so excited to bring the magic of Star Struck Dance Studio to the LKN Gymnastics family!
