Welcome Letter for Dancers
WELCOME TO THE 2011-12 DANCE YEAR!!!
We are so excited about Dance this year at LKN Gym Academy's Dance Commotion!
The following letter is intended to answer many of your questions. Please direct any additional questions to your dance instructor.
The Dance Commotion operates under the policy and regulations of the LKN Gym Academy along with additional requirements specific to the Dance discipline. Correct Dance attire is required – please refer to the Attire Policy attatched to this letter. Also refer to the LKN Gym Academy website under ‘Policy’ as we will follow with the LKN Gym Academy guidelines. Failure to comply will prevent the dancer from participating in class.
The Dance Commotion will perform an annual Dance Commotion Recital. Please look for more information and details to come soon. All tuition, recital fees, and costume fees must be paid in full for students to participate in this performance. Throughout the dance year we will send home additional class information and notes, so please check your dancer’s bags weekly. All information will also be available for viewing in or around the Dance Studio area. We want to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to teach your dancer in the big world of Dance! We look forward to a great and exciting year together!

· No blue jeans, skirts or khakis will be allowed
*Lyrical, Turns and Leaps Ages 8 and Up
· Contemporary attire: Ballet leotard/ sports bra with Ballet ‘booty’ shorts
· Convertible Dance tights or No tights recommended but not limited to
· Open Toe-to-Floor Concept
